Job Summary
IES Consulting is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to build and nurture relationships with priority clients and drive the growth of our security consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within consulting, engineering, or professional services, preferably with international exposure (Europe or US markets) and strong knowledge the security industry with existing client relationships that can be leveraged.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with priority security consulting clients across target sectors (real estate developers, main consultants, architectural and engineering consultancies).
• Proactively seek out new business opportunities, ensuring a robust pipeline aligned with company growth targets.
• Lead the full sales cycle: from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
• Develop a deep understanding of client needs and tailor proposals and solutions that highlight IES Consulting’s value proposition.
• Represent IES Consulting at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposals and project scopes align with client expectations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, pipeline, and client interactions within the CRM.
• Provide regular reporting and forecasting to management on pipeline status, wins, and client feedback.
• Support strategic account planning and participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance client service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to identify new markets, service lines, and partnership opportunities.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or key account management.
• Strong experience selling consulting services, engineering services, or professional solutions.
• Prior exposure to European or US markets is highly desirable.
• Existing relationships with clients in relevant sectors are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and winning new business.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of client decision-making processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and collaborate within a multicultural team.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license or be willing to obtain one.
